Return Policy — Maison Richie

At Maison Richie, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains your rights regarding returns, refunds, replacements, and product issues.
This Return Policy applies in addition to your mandatory consumer rights under applicable Spanish and European consumer protection laws.
1. Right of Withdrawal — 14 Days
If you are a consumer purchasing from the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from the date you receive your order, without giving any reason.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform us of your decision before the 14-day period expires by contacting us at support@maisonrichie.com.
After informing us of your decision to withdraw:
- You must return the product to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the date you notify us of your withdrawal.
- The direct cost of returning the product is the customer's responsibility, unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed by Maison Richie.
- The product may be inspected to verify its nature, characteristics, and functionality.
- The customer may be responsible for any reduction in the value of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product as permitted by applicable law.
Refunds
We will refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost originally paid, no later than 14 days from the date we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned product or until you provide proof that the product has been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree to another method.
If you selected a more expensive delivery option than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us, any additional delivery costs are not refundable.
2. Defective or Non-Conforming Products
If your watch arrives with a manufacturing defect or does not conform to the order or product description, you may have legal rights to request an appropriate remedy under applicable consumer protection law.
Depending on the circumstances, available remedies may include:
- Repair of the product.
- Replacement of the product.
- A proportionate price reduction.
- Termination of the contract and a refund, where legally applicable.
The applicable legal guarantee for new consumer goods in Spain is three years from delivery, subject to the conditions and limitations established by applicable law.
If you believe that your product has a defect or does not conform to your order, please contact us at support@maisonrichie.com and provide:
- Your order number.
- A clear description of the issue.
- Clear photos or video showing the issue, where reasonably possible.
For damage that appears to have occurred during shipping, we strongly recommend contacting us within 48 hours of delivery and providing photos of the product and outer packaging. This helps us investigate the matter quickly and does not limit your statutory consumer rights.
Minor cosmetic damage to the outer packaging that does not affect the product itself is not considered a product defect.
3. Incorrect Color or Model Received
If you receive a different color or model from the one you ordered, please contact us at support@maisonrichie.com within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number.
- A clear photo of the product received.
After reviewing the issue, Maison Richie will arrange an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable law. This may include a replacement or another suitable remedy at no additional cost to the customer where Maison Richie is responsible for the error.
4. Shipping Delays
Delivery times shown on our website are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly guaranteed.
If your order is significantly delayed beyond the estimated delivery time, please contact us at support@maisonrichie.com.
We will review the situation and work with you to find an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.
If the order has not been delivered within the applicable legal delivery period and no different delivery period has been agreed, you may have rights under applicable law, including the right to request delivery within an additional appropriate period or to terminate the contract where legally applicable.
5. Products and Situations Not Covered by the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply where an exception established by applicable law applies.
Except where otherwise required by law, Maison Richie is not responsible for issues caused by:
- Misuse or improper handling of the product.
- Accidental damage caused by the customer.
- Damage resulting from use contrary to the product's intended purpose or care instructions.
- Normal wear and tear.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights or legal guarantees applicable to your purchase.
6. How to Start a Return or Make a Claim
To start a return or submit a product-related claim, please email us at support@maisonrichie.com.
Please include:
1. Your order number.
2. Your full name.
3. The reason for your return or claim.
4. Any relevant photos or other evidence.
Our team will respond within 6–48 hours.
Please do not send any product back without first contacting us and receiving return instructions from our team.
7. Legal Rights
This Return Policy does not affect or limit any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer under applicable Spanish, European, or other applicable consumer protection laws.
Where applicable law provides greater protection to the consumer than this policy, the applicable legal provisions will prevail.
